This is a communal blog written by French hikers for the benefit of the international hiking fraternity.
For that reason, it is an authentic insight into walking in France - an insider's view rather than a "Hey, I decided to live here and would love to show you around..." sort of Blog.
All we do is help them with their English phrasing. Well, it's the least we can do as we want their prose to be intelligible to all outsiders looking to benefit from their local knowledge and cultural insight!
